Fall Festivals and Pumpkin Patches Around Aledo

Fall Festivals and Pumpkin Patches Around Aledo

Autumn around Aledo and broader Parker County is a season rich with texture. Cooler temperatures, high school football, and slowly waning days of turning foliage in short bursts of yellow and orange signal one of the best times of the year for locals. Families pull out light jackets, local farmers bring out hayrides, and there's a smell of cider, wood smoke, and ripe pumpkins in the air.

To celebrate the fall season, below are some of the best pumpkin patches and festivals in and around Aledo—places that deliver both seasonal charm and local character for newcomers, longtime residents, and those just stopping by.

Pumpkin Patches

Unlike its more urbanized neighbors to the east, there remain large swaths of land in Parker County for local farmers to ply their craft. When on the hunt for your perfect Jack-o-Lantern or wanting a fun time out with family, these farms offer plenty of seasonal fun for all ages.

Clark Gardens Pumpkin Patch

Weatherford

Clark Gardens in Weatherford is perfect for visitors who appreciate horticulture and pumpkin patch rolled into a single experience. Less of a farm environment, the Clark Gardens pumpkin patch is part of a larger fall garden experience that many use to acquire seasonal plantings and accents to enhance their holiday home. That's not to say it's not family-friendly, as weekends will include plenty to do for young visitors, including a corn pit, pumpkin‑bowling, ring toss, and Saturday hay rides and face painting.

The Clark Gardens Pumpkin Patch is open daily from Friday, October 3 to Friday, October 31, 2025.

Food and drinks are available from the farm's Coyote Café.
